Course Description
Portable hand-held chainsaws are widely accepted as being potentially dangerous machines, which need to be handled with the utmost care. Regulation 9 of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 19922 requires those who use work equipment to have received adequate training for the purposes of Health & Safety.
This course has been developed and designed for users of hand-held chainsaws in the course of their work.
Aims and Objectives of Course
To train candidates on the safe use of Chainsaws in accordance with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1992.
